What I think this man is saying is you have to be able to learn new things no matter how old you are. The work force is getting really competitive and If you have the ability to learn new things then it makes you a lot more valuable and more likely to get the job over someone who doesn't know how to learn new things. Half the battle is wanting to learn new things. You have to want to learn it. Basically what he is saying is if you cant learn and unlearn and then relearn something, He is saying that you will not make it in the 21st century.
I have seen a lot of change in our school. Our school is one to one and that's a very big deal and really helps students. The younger students in elementary school have tech class with Mrs. Leiker. They learn new stuff every week, Such as coding. Some student do not even learn how to code through out high school. You can get very good jobs being a coder. The younger kids have such an advantage to this world and could be so smart. That's what I think about this weeks blog.
Social media made a big impact on the attacks. The hostages inside were tweeting where the terrorist were. That helped the police a lot and helped a lot of people become safe. Social media also had a bad impact on this, It led to a lot of wrong information and people thinking this happened but it really didn't. Facebook and all the other social media sites really helped out with the attacks and helped people out too. Explained what was happening, making hashtags and really making a big impact on the attacks on Paris.
I think a lot of people are forward thinkers but do not come out say it. Most people are to embarrassed to say it. I myself am one of those people, I am always scared of what people will think of me if i say something dumb. I am getting better and working on trying to be a better forward thinker.
I totally agree with Mrs.Leiker. Having an ask can truly ruin your day and I don't see why anyone would want that. I, myself had an ask and I deleted in this summer. I just don't see the point in it. That's how I feel about it. Following someone is a big thing and no one realizes it.
I think that researching a paper for answers can be good thing. I think that it also can be a bad thing. I think that for some people they will resort to just searching for the answers. Some will use it for the right thing and use it to help them. That is my opinion on if you should search on the web for answers or not.
I think the quote from Albert Einstein means if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree then it will live its whole life thinking its stupid. It means everyone is amazing at something, everyone has there own special ability. A fish could never climb a tree but I know every fish has some amazing ability. All in all everyone has something special. No one is useless.
I think twenty time is one of the coolest things I have done. Justin Bal and I are taking 94-fifty basketballs also known as smart basketballs. They record your shot arc and shot speed. They also have tons of workouts to do. We are going to teach you how to use these basketballs. Here is a list of steps Justin and I are going to do.
1.) Take pictures of the basketball court. 2.) Make a website for all the videos. 3.) Make the videos and show you how to work the basketballs. 4.) Make a Varsity Boys Basketball Facebook page. Digital citizens are suppose to be responsible, and respect others. To have a good digital citizenship, you need to not swear or put stupid stuff online. No cyberbullying, no stealing ideas from people. Digital citizenship makes some employers decide if they want to hire you or not. It's crazy how much digital citizenship means and most people don't understand how much it means!
Preparing for an exam can really be a stressful thing, I used Google and searched for ways to help study for exams. You should walk around before the exam, you should speak out loud instead of in your head, and you should always reward yourself. Those are just a couple of the many ways to help you prepare for exams. Unfortunately i did not find an app for exams but I'm sure there is an app for it. There's an app for everything. I love having online sites to study, such as Quizlet. Quizlet is amazing and is definitely my favorite studying tool. Preparing for exams can make me go crazy so I always make sure I eat before every exam!
